Hi,
I was just talking to someone yesterday about the importance of preparing Saturday for Sunday! How cool. I think it's absolutely essential to take care of all business on Saturday so the Sabbath can be given completely to remembering the Savior and paying our devotions to the Most High (Section 59:9-10). I spoke in Sacrament yesterday. All in Hmong, oh yeahh haha. It was so fun but I slipped up a little. I was talking about the importance of attending church so I talked about how Jesus Christ was our chosen Leader and Savior then a bit about his ministry and all he did for us then about some things that could get in our way of really keeping the Sabbath Day holy. I talked about the friendships and support we have that are strengthened at church and the learning that takes place. The most important part is the ordinance of the sacrament. So when I went to read 3 Nephi 18 which is when Christ is teaching the people in the Americas about the sacrament I accidentally turned to Alma 18. Well after reading about 8 verses I finally realized that what I was reading had nothing to to with the sacrament but instead it was about Ammon cutting off peoples arms ha. Oh it was great. I'm grateful it happened but I'm sure others were a bit confused:) Our week has been good. We have a lot of investigators and it makes it so much more fun when your busy teaching instead of busy finding, however, I enjoy finding too:) I'm so happy to hear that Elder Peacock is out and doing well.
